Classic comedy-drama detective show produced by ABC Circle Films starting in 1985.

One memorable episode ("Atomic Shakespeare") from season 3 which aired in November 1986, was filmed on the Court of Miracles set formerly seen in the classic Universal horror movies. The episode completely abandons the detective format, and reworks Shakespeare's "The Taming of the Shrew" for the characters normally behind the blinds of the Blue Moon Detective Agency. It's still one of the funniest episodes in the Moonlighting collection of ground-breaking comedy-drama, and is a must-see for anyone who's ever struggled with Shakespeare at school.

Many plane interiors were shot on the 747 Stage on the backlot.
