Warner Brothers took the unusual step of renting a massive airship hangar in Bedfordshire, UK to construct the Narrows part of Gotham City full-size. This approach gave the creative team a great deal of freedom in choosing shots - the camera could turn in any direction and show a fully-realised cityscape.
