Warner Bros Backlot – Warner Village

This collection of residential houses was built in 2004 on the site of the Laramie Street Western sets.

A crescent shaped residential street set in a woodland environment. This set has eleven two-story homes in a variety of styles, sidewalks, plush green lawns, driveways and garages. From certain angles you have the Hollywood Hills as your backdrop and from others lush established trees and a small neighborhood park. This location is a favourite for commercials and still photo shoots.
This area was built in 2004 when the Western Laramie Street (see above) was demolished. In it’s last 3 years, the Western set had only been used for 10 days, and it had no running water or electricity. As well as the exteriors on the residential street, the Village provides around 42,000 square feet of valuable office space. Entrances to the offices are in the rear of the residences so writers and production staff can go about their business without disturbing filming at the front of the properties.
