Warner Bros Backlot – Dijon Street

Dijon Street

It was built in 1930 for ‘Kismet‘ as a mid-Eastern / Arabic community, and part of it was seen in ‘Casablanca‘.
Located next to today’s Hennesy Street, the area was replaced with a Helicopter Pad in the 1960s to ensure that Frank Sinatra could travel from his Palm Springs home direct to the studio in his private helicopter. It’s now labelled ‘Lot H’ on modern studio maps, in memory of the Heli-pad.
The landing pad featured in E.R. in the 1990s.
