Formerly Hughes Aircraft, where the Hughes Helicopter and ‘flying boat’ Spruce Goose were made in building 15, the site  became ‘Stages at Playa Vista’ then in 2006 the management was taken over by Raleigh Studios.
\nIn 2012 – 2014, LA developer Wayne Ratkovich converted the studios into Hercules Campus, a shared workspace \/ production space, used by companies such as Youtube. The development was expected to cost up to $90 million.
\nIn 2016, the lease was taken over by Google and their new office \/ workspace complex opened in 2018. <\/p>\n
