Classic mix of horror and great comedy from the masters of the genre. Universal hit on the ideal way of reviving the fortunes of Abbott & Costello, and also bringing the classic Universal monsters to the public again. Although the majority of the film is shot inside soundstages, the backlot was used for at least one sequence (Frankenstein Monster at the lake).

Stage 19 - House of Horrors set (now Stage 22)

Stage 22 - Insurance Office set (now Stage 25)
Stage 6 - Staircase to basement (now Stage 3)
Stage 17 - Lab (still Stage 17!)
