Stage 06

This stage is now used predominantly for private parties and events.

It houses two of the original chandaliers from The Phantom of the Opera (1925) and is the shortest stage on the lot.

Spartacus [Feature Film]	1960	Stanley Kubrick
The Square of Warriors (formerly known as Spartacus Square) was designed and built for this movie. Laurence Olivier addresses the Roman soldiers from the Roman Senate steps. The backlot road leading to the Flash Flood was used as the Appian Way. The senate interiors were shot on Stage 06. Stage 12 was also used.
McHale's Navy / McHales Navy [TV Series]	1962-1966
Stage 06, Park Lake doubled as the Pacific Ocean, with a number of scale model ships on it.
The Six Million Dollar Man [TV Series]	1974-1978
New York Street, Stage 06, Stage 30, Ice Tunnel (Studio Tour)
Big Brother episode shot on Brownstone Street (1976)
Season 5, Episode 10 (1977) Target Steve Austin. While the Collapsing Bridge remains level, some of the boards break loose causing an RV to get stuck. Steve Austin has to climb down to the base of the bridge to shore it up and free the RV.
The Blues Brothers [Feature Film]	1980	John Landis
Park Lake (Good ole boys motorhome crashes into lake), New York Street (as Chicago) - car jump stunt, Singapore Lake. The gospel church interior was shot on a set built on the Square of Warriors backlot set. Stage 06 and Stage 25 was also used.
Scarface [Feature Film]	1983	Brian De Palma
Stage 12 was used for large set piece scenes. Stage 06 was also used.
Ghost Whisperer [TV Series]	2005-2010	John Gray
Based on Courthouse Square, this series also filmed in the Chicken Ranch, on Colonial Street, on Elm Street, in the Underwater Tank and on Stage 05, Stage 06, Stage 18, Stage 19, Stage 20 at Universal.
