Long-running detective story featuring the many talents of Angela Lansbury as the Miss Marple for the 80s, Jessica Fletcher. Shots of Cabot Cove were filmed at the Jaws Lake on the backlot. The houses can still be seen today.
As well as using soundstages at Universal Studios for the show, many episodes ventured onto various parts of the extensive Universal Studios backlot.
The series also inspired the "Murder, She Wrote Mystery Theatre" special effects show at Universal Studios Florida.
