Cardington Airship Sheds: Shed 2 at Cardington had an entire section of Gotham City 'Narrows' built inside it.

Warner Brothers took the unusual step of renting a massive airship shed at Cardington in Bedfordshire, UK to construct the Narrows part of Gotham City full-size. This approach gave the creative team a great deal of freedom in choosing shots - the camera could turn in any direction and show a fully-realised cityscape.
The photo below shows the Narrows building constructed inside the shed.
