Universal Studios Hollywood: Shot on Stage 28, with a nearby stage used as a Muppet Workshop to keep the stars looking perky. Stage 27 was also used.
Charlie Chaplin Studios: The actual Jim Henson Company studios feature as The Muppet Studios.
Warner Bros Studios: The opening dance number I've Got Everything I Need was shot on Midwest Street on the backlot. Another sequence was filmed at the cabin on the Jungle set.

The Muppet Theater exterior is the Disney company's showcase El Capitan Theater on Hollywood Boulevard.
The final sequence involved the closing of Hollywood Boulevard for two nights in January 2011. 
The movie was in production from November 2010 - February 11, 2011 (along with some additional reshoots in April 2011).  The world premiere was at the El Capitan Theater on November 12, 2011.
