Welcome to the beginnings of a site about Leavesden Studios; the home of Harry Potter

The UK's only purpose-built movie studio, Leavesden opened for business in 1995 for GoldenEye (part of the James Bond series). The site was previously an aircraft engine manufacturing plant, and the site is still owned by Rolls Royce.
Since GoldenEye it's been home to the 3 recent Star Wars movies as well as being the permanent studio base for Harry Potter.
Since 1995 the facilities have been expanded..
