More about the show:
Voice-over actors are mostly heard but not seen. They create memorable characters in movies and TV, cartoons, and commercials but seldom get face recognition. Bob Bergen, a well-known actor in the voice-over world, is reprising his sparkling one-man show ìNot Just Another Pretty Voice!,î in order to introduce his face as well as his mouth with his unique story. The show-which was ADA nominated for best solo show in its previous successful three month run in Los Angeles-plays every Wednesday night at 8:00PM from April 25-May 30 at The Stella Adler Theater in Hollywood.

ìNot Just Another Pretty Voice!,î co-written and directed by Steven Paul Leiva, has been refreshed with new stories and tales of Bergenís rise in the voice-over world, which started when he announced to his parents at the age of five that he wanted to be Porky Pig, to years later when he achieved that goal. The stories between these two events are an inspirational, motivational, and comedic look at Bergenís sojourn.

Bergen, who produces, co-wrote and stars in ìNot Just A Pretty Voice!î can be heard in hundreds of commercials, cartoons, TV shows and movies. Heís an Annie Award nominee for playing Porky/Eager Young Space Cadet in the twice Emmy nominated series. ìDuck Dodgers.î He was heard as Porky Pig, Tweety, and Speedy Gonzales in the 2006 WB holiday film, ìBah, Humduck,î and plays Bucky in Disneyís animated series,ìThe Emperorís New School.î He recently reprised his role of Comet in Disneyís ìThe Santa Clause 3.î

I have spoken with Bob before, and heard his work. He is a great and talented guy. Looks like luck is on his side a bit more now over just a tram tour guide. Congrats Bob.
