I really hope there will be a classic universal monsters walkthrough, sad to see van helsing go, but universal monsters will be much better. Does neone know nemore about this rumoured walkthrough?

just that the new walkthrough will be ready by early 2007, I think thats quick though, but neat

USH has officially posted on their site, that the universal House of Horrors walkthrough will open march 31st!

Universal Studio Hollywood's House of Horrors is a frightening, scream as you go, walk through experience inspired by some of the greatest Universal Studios horror movies of all time.

The most feared characters - like Dracula, Frankenstein, Chucky among many others -- will take you by surprise while you attempt to navigate your way through an ever-changing, terrorizing maze.

Opening March 31, 2007.

Be afraid . . . be very, very afraid!

Yeah, it was really fun.
I went there today for the opening, really well done and cool.
The props in the front room are great, the aisle way of movie posters(new and old!), and the walkthrough was awesome.
I especially loved the Phantom of the Opera characters(the phantom hanging the man right above guests heads) and the spinning Wolf Man room.
I posted some pics on my photobucket.

Thanks for the sharing the great photos NFBV. Now please tell us in detail what actually happens with each movie in the walkthrough. I have wild ideas of birds being thrown at guests as they walk through, ala the attic scene at the end of The Birds :)

Does the walkthrough have live actors or is it only a display of posters, Does it contain a store with the sale of Horror DVD's and postcards . What props are shown. Any live action of actors as Universal Monsters, Stills from the movies ? What's different from a wax museum environment?
